Scene of numerous cultural, sports and entertainment events, Loano offers all year-round infinite opportunities for fun. In winter is possible spending pleasant evenings with great interpreters of Italian national theater. In February on the promenade comes alive the Liguria's biggest carnival with floats, marching bands and masquerades.

Sporting events take place throughout the year: swimming, basketball, volleyball, tennis.

Immersed in the green, right in the center of town, the Summer Arena of Giardino del Principe is the natural setting of great summer events: the International Exhibition of Dance La Danza nel Giardino del Principe, the showcase of Italian comedy, Loano Cabaret and Settembre Musicale Loanese for music.

And yet, beneath the starry sky of summer, coffee-concert on the waterfront promenade, concerts in the squares of the historic center, the Gathering of music bands, the Summer Carnival, the Feast of Basure (witches), a special August-meeting with astrologers and palmists. The fireworks finally, on New Year's Eve, color the sky of Loano and announce the arrival of the new year.
